Punjab being an agricultural state has gotten a major push ever since Bhagwant Mann became Chief Minister of the state. Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Government has launched a plethora of schemes that are impacting and improving the lives of the people. Be it in the form of Mohalla Clinics that gives the people free healthcare treatment, be it the School of Eminence which gives quality education to students, or making the people of Punjab eligible to get citizen-centric documents like Birth Certificates, etc from the comfort of their homes, Bhagwant Mann has touched almost every sector where his vision is improving the daily lives of the people. Talking about every sector, how Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann can neglect the agricultural sector and the farmers of the state.
Under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann, a modern laboratory has been set up at Citrus Estate Hoshiarpur, Punjab for testing soil elements. In this lab, microelements in soil are tested with the help of the latest machines. Horticulture officers give information about the use of fertilizers according to the defects found based on soil testing reports and if any defects are found in soil testing, they are rectified.
A large number of farmers are taking advantage of this lab in Punjab. Farmers say that the result of getting soil tested in Citrus Estate Hoshiarpur Lab was quite good.
