Punjab is all set to witness the wedding of two big Indian Hockey stars- Mandeep Singh and Udita Duhan. Hockey stars Mandeep Singh and Udita Duhan will get married in Punjab on March 21,2025. Hence, the pre-wedding festive has begun at Mandeep Singh's house. On Wednesday, a traditional ‘Jago’ ceremony was held at Mandeep Singh's home, where family members danced joyously, and the Indian hockey star was seen beaming with happiness. Following the Jago, Mandeep, along with family and friends, attended a DJ party.
Indian hockey team captain Harmanpreet Singh, former captain Manpreet Singh, former Olympian Sardar Singh, Olympian Gurjant Singh, Sukhjeet Singh, Varun Kumar Shahid, and other players also reached the DJ party after the Jago program. All these players were seen dancing to the songs played by the DJ. Many politicians, former and present police officers, and many famous people of the city also attended this ceremony.
Mandeep Singh-Udita Duhan Lovestory
As per reports, Mandeep, who hails from Punjab, first met Udita in 2018. This meeting took place in the Indian national camp in Bengaluru in 2018. At first, they used to talk just like two players, talk about hockey, and understand each other's understanding of the game. But as time passed, their friendship grew stronger. Their bond grew stronger during the lockdown. Both Mandeep and Udita were stuck in the same camp, away from their families and the outside world, where they started spending more time together and found the most comfort in each other's company.

While a DJ party will be held on March 19, the wedding procession (Baraat) will depart from Mandeep’s residence at 8 am on March 21, heading towards Gurdwara Singh Sabha, where the Anand Karaj ceremony will take place at 9 am. A grand reception is planned for March 22.
