'You have only 7 days left..': NRI woman living in Jalandhar's New Jawahar Nagar gets death threat over call

The NRI woman living in Jalandhar's New Jawahar Nagar received a threatening call in which the caller said that she would return to England in a coffin if she did not take back her court cases.

An NRI woman living in Jalandhar's New Jawahar Nagar recently got death threats over a call. The NRI woman who resides in England has received a death threat as she has been staying in Jalandhar due to her ongoing cases. Jalandhar City Police has registered an FIR in Police Station Division Number-6 against unknown people.

The caller reportedly asked the NRI woman to withdraw her cases, otherwise, she will go abroad in a box (coffin). The police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim. The NRI woman, a resident of New Jawahar Nagar, said in her statement to the police that on August 24, she received a threatening call on her UK number. In which the accused said that you have only 7 days, withdraw all the seven cases going on in the court as soon as possible. Otherwise, you will return abroad in a coffin. Your family will be harmed before you. So withdraw all the cases.

After receiving the call, the victim immediately complained about the matter to the police. The NRI woman reportedly said that she is about 45 years old and has two children. Both of them currently live in England and she herself is also a resident of England. She had her own house in Sector-8 of Chandigarh. Currently, she is living in Jalandhar.

The NRI woman revealed that she is having a dispute with her parents and sister-in-law regarding property. Her ancestral house in Chandigarh was sold by her family without informing her. About 7 such cases are going on in her court. When the victim talked about her share, a dispute with the family started. In such a situation, now the victim is fighting a case for her share.
