Who is Rickard Andersson & how did he get linked to the Orebro School Shooting?
While the Swedish authorities are still investigating the case and trying to find out about the gunman's identity, many social media users on X shared a photo of a man named Rickard Andersson and linked him to Orebro School Shooting. A social media user wrote, "Rickard Andersson Örebro, a Swedish white supremacist, kills 10 people in an attack against immigrants at an adult school. He was an active member of white supremacist forums."

Interestingly, an unverified X page under the name of Rickard Andersson took to his X handle and wrote, "For those of you who don't understand Swedish, I'm not the murderer in Örebro, I live far away and have nothing to do with it. I'd like to take this opportunity to send my thoughts to the victims and their families."
As per reports, Rickard Andersson's link to the Sweden Schol Shooting was sparked after users on Flashback posted an alleged photo of the suspected shooter, saying he was 35 years old and lived in Storgatan 53, Stockholm (storgatan 53 örebro). However, they did not provide any substantial evidence.
Sweden School Shooting 2025
At least 11 people are said to be killed in the mass shooting in Campus Risbergska School in Orebro. The number of those injured in the horror attack are still unclear. Police are currently working to identify the victims and inform their families. Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson described it as the "worst mass shooting in Swedish history".
He said, "Today, we have witnessed brutal, deadly violence against completely innocent people. This is the worst mass shooting in Swedish history. Many questions remain unanswered, and I cannot provide those answers either."
In a viral video, terrified students appeared to be barricaded in classrooms as alarms blared in the background. Armed officers stormed the school with weapons drawn, while ambulances and rescue services swarmed the area. Police rushed to the scene around 12.30pm on Tuesday following reports of an attacker firing an automatic weapon, and a major emergency response was launched.
The shooter turned the gun on himself at the scene before he could be stopped. Cops are now working to identify him but don't believe he had any terror motive at this moment and say he worked alone. As per reports, the shooter also wasn't previously known to police.
