The biggest award event of the year, the Oscars 2025, went underway on Monday (India Time) in Los Angeles' Dolby Theater on March 3 at 5:30 am. The 97th Academy Awards witnessed actors, actresses, and who's who of the film industry worldwide. The Oscars 2025 was hosted by Conan O'Brien, who won hearts in India and also broke the inserted after he greeted the audience by saying Namastey. Actor Kieran Culkin took home Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, and Zoe Saldana won the best supporting actress for Emilia Perez. On the other hand, the 97th Academy Awards for Best Actress was won by Mikey Madison for Anora, and Adrian Brody won the title of Best Actor for The Brutalist.

Who won the most awards in Oscars 2025?
While Emilia Pérez topped this year’s nominations with 13 nods, including Best Picture and Best Director, it was director Sean Baker’s romantic comedy-drama Anora that emerged as the ceremony’s biggest winner. Anora took home five awards — Best Picture, Best Actress (Mikey Madison), Best Director, Best Film Editing, and Best Original Screenplay. Among the night’s standout moments, Adrien Brody won the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of László Tóth in Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist.
Interestingly, while going onto the stage to receive the best actor award, Brody threw his chewing gum from his mouth to his girlfriend. The moment is also going viral on social media.
