The highly anticipated sequel unfortunately, fails to impress. With a weak storyline, poor narration, and predictable suspense, the film drags on unnecessarily, testing the viewer's patience, neither turns out to be a love story with suspense nor a proper revenge saga….
The talented cast, including Jimmy Shergill and Sunny Kaushal, is sadly wasted in underwritten roles. Taapsee Pannu brings some much-needed spice and steam to the film, but it's not enough to save the half-baked mess. Vikrant Massey is the sole saving grace, delivering a decent performance amidst the chaos.
Compared to its predecessor, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba doesn't live up to the standard. The first half is still watchable, but the second half is a snooze-fest, bringing immense boredom.
