4 devotees from Jalandhar were going for Mani Mahesh Yatra, when their car fell into a deep ditch on the way. The accident was so severe that one youth died in this accident, while 3 were seriously injured. The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Kumar. According to the information received, the four youths were going to Bharmour in car number PB-37-J-1938.
The injured were referred to Medical College Chamba after first aid at Dalhousie Hospital. 2 brothers and their 2 friends, residents of Phillaur, Jalandhar, were going for Mani Mahesh Yatra. On August 24 morning at around 5:30, their car met with an accident on the Pathankot-Bharmour highway. With the help of local people, the deceased and the injured were pulled out of the ditch and taken to the hospital. One of the friends died in the accident. Karan, Rahul, and Sanjay Kumar are undergoing treatment at Chamba Hospital. The cause of the accident is not yet known. At the same time, a case has been registered in Dalhousie Police Station regarding this accident and further action has been initiated.
