Demand to sack Daba Police Station SHO Kulbir Singh on Wednesday intensified after a video of his verbal brawl with a woman activist went viral on social media. On Wednesday, a video went viral on social media with the claims that a Woman activist was pushed out of Ludhiana's Daba Police Station after she got involved in a heated argument with SHO Kulbir Singh. The video showcased, the woman questioning the Police of actions that are being taken to nab the culprit who raped and murdered a 4-year-old girl in Ludhiana a few days back. While the viral video showcased, the SHO misbehaved with the woman activist, now Kulbir Singh has finally broken his silence and accused the Jalandhar-based activist of making a 'preplanned' video.
Reacting to the viral video, the Daba SHO said, "There is a backstory of the video. The lady named Neha who came from Jalandhar is said to be part of an NGO. She has come to the Police station six to seven times. The video was made in a pre-planned manner. The woman generally uses foul language with the Police whenever she comes. However, to make the video, she was seen talking to us respectfully. She also threatens us. The video which is going viral has been made in a pre-planned manner. When she started to misbehave with me, I called the lady constable. She also misbehaved with the lady constable. Finally, the lady constable asked her to leave the Police station."
"Since the incident has taken place we are in constant touch with the family. We have been informing them of what the Police are doing in the case. Different teams of Punjab Police are raiding interstate to nab the culprit. The Police are trying their level best and we also know the matter is very sensitive," he added.

A four-and-a-half-year-old girl was brutally murdered after being raped in the New Azad Nagar area of Daba in Ludhiana. Following this, the accused absconded after hiding the girl's body in the bed box. The police recovered the girl's body late on the night of 28 December. But the accused is still out of the custody of the police.
A case has been registered against the accused on charges of kidnapping, rape, and murder and he is being searched. The accused has been identified as 24-year-old Sonu, a Resident of the Kanpur area of Uttar Pradesh.
