American supermodel Gigi Hadid on Wednesday finally broke her silence on the shocking Hamas terror strike on Israel that included massacring Israeli civilians & tourists.  Notably, Gigi Hadid is the daughter of Palestinian-American real-estate developer Mohamed Hadid and Dutch-American former model Yolanda Hadid, and her response has indeed raised eyebrows around the world.

Gigi Hadid on the Hamas attack although condemned the violence & massacre, she extended her support to the Palestine cause clarifying that being pro-Palestine does not mean she is antisemitic.

Gigi in her detailed statement wrote, "My thoughts are with all those affected by this unjustifiable tragedy, and every day that innocent lives are taken by this conflict too many of which are children. I have deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle life under occupation, it's a responsibility I hold daily. I also feel a responsibility to my Jewish friends to make it clear, as I have before: While I have hopes and dreams for Palestinians, none of them include the harm of a Jewish person."

"The terrorizing of innocent people is not in alignment with & does not do any good for the 'Free Palestine' movement. The idea that it does has fueled a painful, decades-long cycle of back&forth retaliation (which no innocent civilian, Palestinian or Isra deserves to be a casualty of), and helps perpetuate the false idea that being Pro-Palestine = antisemitic."

"If you are hurting, as I share my condolences today with my loved ones, both Palestinian and Jewish, I'm sending you my love & strength whoever and wherever you are. There are a lot of complex, personal, and valid feelings, but every human deserves basic rights, treatment, and security; no matter their nationality, religion, ethnicity, or where they were born."

"I know my words will never be enough or heal the deep wounds of so many, but I pray for the safety of innocent lives, always," wrote Gigi Hadid.

Notably, Gigi turned off her comment section of the post related to the Hamas attack. It hints that Gigi had expected that she might face backlash on social media for not clearly condemning Hamas from Israelis or not clearly supporting Hamas by Pro-Palestine social media users.

It is pertinent to mention here that former adult movie star Mia Khalifa recently came under the scanner of social media after she celebrated Hamas attack on Israel. Following her series of bizarre tweets on X that included the suggestion to make the attack video in verticle format, Playboy and a podcaster terminated her contract.
