The Punjab Chief Minister has appealed to the people to become a part of Yudh Nasheyan Virudh, a statewide campaign against drugs, with a renewed resolve to eliminate this evil. To add strength to the campaign, the government has initiated a WhatsApp helpline (9779100200), inviting people to inform on drug dealers and their activities discreetly.

Addressing an audio message, the chief minister stated that the Punjab government has initiated a big crackdown against the evil of drugs in the form of Yudh Nasheyan Virudh. He clearly stated that the drug curse expanded its arms in the state as a result of open patronage of the former regimes. Yet, Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that his government has launched a crusade to create a drug-free Punjab for which no stone is left unturned.

The Chief Minister categorically stated that this war can be won only with the active support of the common man. He stated that the state government has released a WhatsApp helpline number, 9779100200, for taking the people's support in this war. Bhagwant Singh Mann requested the people to provide any information related to the drug smugglers active in their city or area on this WhatsApp number.

The Chief Minister assured the caller that their identity would not be revealed or shared with anyone. He added that the people's fulsome support and cooperation are essential in this ambitious war against drugs and that people must lend their support to this initiative in a grand manner. Bhagwant Singh Mann appealed to the masses to grab their phones and dial up the helpline number, and become a part of this ambitious mission.
