During the trailer launch of the movie, actress Kareena shared her admiration for Kate Winslet. She called herself a huge fan of Kate Winslet. However, the actress has clarified that although Kate Winslet is an inspiration for her, her character Jasmeet in The Buckingham Murders is her own interpretation and does not resemble to Kate Winslet’s character in the series Mare of Easttown.
In an interview, actress Kareena Kapoor said, “I think I loved playing that part because this is the first time, I am playing a detective, and I am a huge crime drama fan.
