Is Khalbali Records a true story?
The answer is no. Khalbali Records is a fictional story that revolves around the backdoor politics that revolves around the music label business in India. Khalbali Records is centered around Raghav Rai, a young music producer who decided to break away from his father’s legacy at Galaxy Records to launch Khalbali Records. Khalbali Records is a label that values artistic integrity over profits. With the music industry now torn apart by this audacious move, Raghav faces both backlash and admiration. Ram Kapoor plays the character of a father who is a businessman and runs Galaxy Records.
Notably, a young music producer parting ways with his father's music label is a somewhat similar storyline to a series in which Emran Hashmi has acted. However, the storyline of both the series is different.
Rapper Prabh Dev also stars in the series. Prabh Deep was quoted saying, "When Devanshu shared the script with me, I noticed that the character's ideology closely mirrored my own life, as depicted in 'Khalbali Records'. Since this is my debut as an actor, having such a relatable character made it easier for me to bring the role to life. The parallels between the script and my personal experiences helped me connect with and understand the character deeply."
