In a tragic development, five friends who went for a late-night drive were charred to death after their car collided with a truck on the Jalandhar-Pathankot Highway. The Jalandhar friends' accident took place on Friday and all five youths died after a blast took place in their car after a horrific collision with a truck. The deceased were all residents of Jalandhar identified as Rishabh Minhas, Inder Kaundal, Raju, Abhi, resident of Bhargav Camp, and Ankit Kumar, resident of Ghas Mandi. The horrific accident took place near Dasuya on the Jalandhar-Pathankot highway. Now, a video has surfaced on social media which was shared by one of the deceased Rishabh Minhas on his Instagram handle.
Rishabh Minhas' Instagram video showcases all the friends dancing to Karan Aujila's Take It Easy song. However, what was concerning to see in the Jalandhar friend accident video, is the car being driven at 130 km/hr. Undoubtedly there is less traffic in the night-time, Rishabh Minhas' Instagram reel showcases that the car was overspeeding.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the said car belonged to Rishabh. It was Rishabh who was driving the car. The car was CNG. After the collision of the car, its CNG cylinder exploded. Due to this, the bodies of the five friends were badly burnt. Three died on the spot. Whereas, one died on the way and the other in the hospital. The truck that was involved in the accident had also overturned in the bushes. The police have registered a case against its driver. At present the truck driver is undergoing treatment.
It is said that Rishabh had shared the viral Instagram reel just 20 minutes before the accident.
