A total of 8 rockets have been recovered near a school in Patiala, Punjab. The traffic police noticed these rockets. Following this, the police called the bomb squad and examined them thoroughly.
SSP Nanak Singh, who reached the spot, said that there are no explosives in the cells of these rockets. An investigation is being conducted to find out where these came from.
The SSP said that the army has also been informed about this. The army team is also coming for the investigation. They will find out how old these rocket shells are. However, it seems like some junk dealer had thrown it away.
Earlier on Saturday, a bomb shell was also found in Kambwala, Chandigarh. It was an active bomb shell. Following this, the area was evacuated by the Chandigarh Police.
The army located at Chandi Mandir was informed. The army team reached and took the bomb into custody. Previously, in the year 2022, bomb shells were found in Patiala Samana.
According to the information, a passerby informed the traffic police about this at around 12 noon. The police became active as soon as the information was received.
Also, the Lahori Gate team immediately reached there and took the rocket in their possession. After this, the bomb squad team reached there and examined it. However, there was no explosive material in it.
