Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, a.k.a Sidhu Moosewala, left a lasting impression in the annals of Punjabi Music industry before his untimely death in May 2022. He cemented his legacy as one of the greatest Punjabi artists of this generation with mega-hits such as ‘Just Listen’, ‘So High’ and ‘Issa Jatt’. His legacy lives on however, as his long-time friend and music producer Sunny Malton, shared the teaser for his 4th posthumous song, 410, which will be released tomorrow i.e. April 10 (4/10). Along with the teaser, Malton also shared the poster of the song featuring him and Sidhu.
The teaser features Sunny standing in front of a screen displaying Sidhu Moosewala’s greatest with a voiceover of Moosewala reminiscing about his and Sunny’s relationship him saying, “he was our brother, is our brother, and will always be our brother”. Sidhu and Sunny, who were longtime friends, had formed one of the most successful music-industry teams before splitting up due to a personal disagreement. Later Sunny Malton and Sidhu Moose Wala were reportedly reconciled in October 2021. Teaser ends with the iconic line of Malton in nearly every Sidhu Moose Wala's song: "Ik vari hor".
This will be Sidhu’s 4th posthumous song. The first song SYL, garnered one million views just an hour after its release. It was later banned by Youtube over “controversial lyrics”, but it still amassed 3 crore views despite the ban. Similarly Vaar, managed to garner 4 million views. “Mera Na”, which was released 10 months after his death garnered over a million views just 20 minutes after release and 4.9 million views just 4 hours after it’s release.
