Microsoft Outage has become the global talking point worldwide as global services have reached a standstill due to Windows Crash. Banks, Airlines, the Stock Market, and the entire global work went down on Friday after Microsoft crashed.  Even multiple airlines around the world were grounded due to Microsoft's outage. Many media houses including Sky Network crashed due to Microsoft Down. The Microsoft Outage is still in effect after many hours. As a result, CEO Satya Nadella broke his silence and wrote on X, "Yesterday, CrowdStrike released an update that began impacting IT systems globally. We are aware of this issue and are working closely with CrowdStrike and across the industry to provide customers technical guidance and support to safely bring their systems back online."

Meanwhile, The Simpsons clip is going viral on social media, claiming that the American sitcom had predicted about Microsoft Outage years ago. For the unversed, American Sitcom The Simpsons debuted on December 17, 1989. With 768 episodes, The Simpsons became the longest-running American animated series. However, in the past few years, The Simpsons' fame has skyrocketed due to the lovers of conspiracy theories. Social media users share short clips of The Simpsons and compare them with real-life incidents.

In the viral The Simpsons clip, a child can be heard saying, "Even a single bug can corrupt every other computer, right dad?" The video then cuts to a news portal saying that it was a single content update that resulted in Microsoft's global outage. However, it is pertinent to mention here that claims are absolutely false. The Simpsons have never made predictions. The Simpsons is a satirical portrayal of the middle-class American lifestyle but fans often compare it with real-life incidents which is nothing but a conspiracy theory.

Another example of The Simpsons' conspiracy theory is that it had predicted Donald Trump's death on August 27, 2020. Multiple posts of an image of the cartoon version of Trump lying in a coffin were circulated on social media. The image gives the impression that it is still from one of the episodes of  'The Simpsons'. However, it turned out to be a fake image that went viral and no episode of the popular series actually predicted Donald Trump's death.
