The answer is no. Just like the film, the character of Team India cricketer Arjun is also fictional. However, the references used in the movie i.e. Team India star not able to hit a century in international for over 2 years resemble Virat Kohli.
For the unversed, Virat Kohli went through a period of over two years without scoring an international century in the past. The dip in his form happened after he hit a century vs Bangladesh in November 2019. Then, the Delhi-born cricketer could not score a century for the next few years. Finally, he ended the century drought in September 2022 against Afghanistan.
It is pertinent to mention here that apart from Virat Kohli, former Team India batting legend Sachin Tendulkar too went through a rough patch. Sachin could not score a ton for over two years (from March 12, 2011, to March 16, 2012) in international cricket.
