As of March 6, 2025, India operates a network of 66 Vande Bharat express trains, covering various routes across 16 Indian Railways zones. The first service was introduced in February 2019, and the network has expanded to include 16 sixteen-car services, 7 twenty-car services, and 43 eight-car services.

In addition to the existing services, the government has announced plans to introduce 75 new Vande Bharat routes over a span of 75 weeks, aiming to enhance connectivity across the country.
These developments are part of a broader modernization effort by Indian Railways, which has invested over $22 billion in the current fiscal year to expand capacity and improve travel speed and safety.

- Ahmedabad-Jodhpur: reduced journey time between two major trade hubs
