Even before the release of the movie, Son of Sardar 2 is making headlines but for all the wrong reasons. Veteran actor & comedian Vijay Raaz has been sacked by the makers of Ajay Devgn's upcoming movie allegedly over inappropriate behaviour. On the other hand, Vijay Raaz has accused the makers of removing him from the film as he did not greet Ajay Devgn on the sets of Son of Sardar 2. Producer Kumar Mangat stated, “Yes, it is true that we have replaced Vijay Raaz from the movie because of his rude and unacceptable behaviour towards the crew and unnecessary demands. He demanded Huge rooms, and a large Vanity Van and also overcharged us for the spot boys.”
Kumar Mangat continued, “Infact, his spot boy was paid Rs. 20,000 per night which is very expensive in comparison to any big actor." Now, the question arises who is replacing Vijay Raaz in Son of Sardar 2?
The answer is actor Sanjay Mishra. Breaking his silence on replacing Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra was quoted saying, "I share a deep emotional bond with Ajay sir. When my brother passed away, he was there to support me. We’ve always been there for each other through thick and thin. Whenever he calls me for a film project, it’s not just any other project but more than that — it’s a testament to our friendship. Just a call from him is all it takes for me to be there, and he’s always there for me in the same way. That’s all I can say for now.”
Coming back to Son of Sardar 2 controversy, the producer of the movie alleged that Vijay Raaz demanded a premium suite in the UK, while everyone got a standard room during the shoot. He stated that when we tried to make him understand the costing scenario then Vijay Raaz refused to understand and also behaved utterly rudely.
According to the producers, Vijay Raaz’s constant response was, “Aap Logo ne Mujhe Approach Kiya, Main kaunsa saamne se kaam mangne aaya tha.” Further continuing the producer said we even tried to accommodate his demands but his behaviour turned worse.
