Monalisa Bhosle, a 16-year-old girl, hails from Maheshwar near Indore, Madhya Pradesh. She has become an internet sensation because of her looks and appearance. Recently, a video of her interacting with visitors and selling garlands went viral on the social media.
Her video unexpectedly went viral on social media and garnered more than 15 million views. After her video went viral, people praised her looks and she earned the nickname ‘Maha Kumbh ki Monalisa’ as well.
Following this, Monalisa has now got a chance to work in a Bollywood film. As per PTC news, she has got the opportunity to work in the film ‘Diary of Manipur’. This movie is being made by well-known writer and director Sanoj Mishra. This film will be based on a horrific incident that happened in the state of Manipur.
The film's director Sanoj Mishra has cast Monalisa for this film and he believes that Monalisa can prove to be a great actress. He himself went to Monalisa's house in Indore and met her. Sharing a video on social media, Sanoj Mishra said that he also met Monalisa's family and found her family members very simple and innocent.
He said, “Monalisa will play an important role in this film and we are responsible for preparing her completely. Her future can be very bright in Bollywood.”
The budget of this film is around Rs 20 crore, and its shooting is planned to start in February 2025. The trailer of the film is expected to get released in October 2025.
Director Sanoj Mishra said, “Monalisa belongs to a lower middle-class family. She is a nomad and her family roams around selling garlands. In the movie, she will play the role a a retired army soldier's daughter from Manipur who too wants to join the army. This is her dreams. The film will show the problems she has face in order to fulfil her dream. This is what the film is all about.”
