Virat Kohli was shadow-practicing his batting in the dressing room when a fan was filming him there. All of a sudden, the fan started to chant 'Chokli Chokli'. Listening to this, Virat Kohli gave a death stare to the Sri Lankan fan trolling him without any cause. Now, Virat Kohli Chokli chanting video is also going viral on social media and Indians are enraged by the disrespect of the 'Chase Master'.
For those who are unaware, the term 'Chokli' is used by social media trolls against Virat Kohli. It is used to outline Virat Kohli's failure at big events. The trolls give examples of Kohli not being able to perform at crucial stages including- the 2019 World Cup, where he was dismissed for 1. Kohli fell for the same score in the 2015 World Cup semifinal against Australia and the 2017 Champions Trophy final against Pakistan.
Virat Kohli landed in Sri Lanka on Monday morning. Kohli and the rest of the ODI arrivals' first practice session on Monday was canceled due to rain in Colombo. However, Virat Kohli underwent his first net session since the T20 World Cup final, on Tuesday. While the official video clips from the practice are yet to be shared by the BCCI, some that were recorded by the fans and uploaded on X showed Kohli connecting the ball well.
Following the victory parade in Mumbai over India's T20 World Cup win, Virat Kohli is living in the UK along with actress & wife Anushka Sharma and two kids- Vamika & Akaay. Notably, multiple videos and pictures of Virat Kohli are already available on X. Kohli's viral pictures & videos showcase him and Anushka attending Kirtan in London. Not only this, a picture of Kohli holding Akaay in his lap also went viral on social media. There are murmurs that Virat Kohli is mulling to shift to London after his cricketing career is over.
It is pertinent to mention here that Virat Kohli has already retired from T20Is after the World Cup win. However, the 35-year-old cricketer continues to represent India in 50 overs & Test cricket. Just like Kohli, Rohit Sharma has also retired from T20Is and he will represent the Men In Blue in Tests & ODIs. The next major ICC tournament is the Champions Trophy and it is expected that Kohli & Rohit may end their career by winning the title.
