What is the Inspect Element feature?
Inspect Element is not a feature. Inspect Element is a feature that allows users to view and edit a web page's source code, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and media files. Inspecting web elements in a browser generally lets developers or testers debug a particular element, conduct layout tests, or perform live CSS editing. It can be done in two ways- the first one is by selecting the particular link and content on a website and right-clicking on it. Thereafter, click on the inspect option from the drop-down menu on Chrome or other browsers.
The other way is from a shortcut keyword on your laptop or PC. For Windows laptop, use the command Control + Shift + C. For MacOS users, use the shortcut key to- Command + Option + C.
How do techies use Inspect Element to book Coldplay Concert Tickets?
Archit Chauhan, the co-founder and CTO of Crib and a former software engineer at Microsoft shared a snip and wrote, "We managed to get Coldplay tickets by using some inspect element tricks to find the "buy" ticket URL before it was available to the general public." Later, he deleted his post on Linkedin. Thereafter, multiple users shared the snip of their attempt to buy tickets using the same technique. However, it is not clear whether anyone actually managed to buy the tickets.
Coldplay has announced the concert dates on their official Instagram page. The concert is scheduled to happen in the next year. The Coldplay band will do 3-day concerts in Mumbai. The concert will happen on the 18th, 19th, and 21st of January 2025 in the DY Patil Sports Stadium.
