Benita Alexander is a former fiance of convicted doctor Paolo Macchiarini. She was working with NBC when she first met Macchiarini in February of 2013. Benita Alexander reportedly met Dr. Paolo to make a documentary on him as he was already famous when she met him. Benita Alexander first met Dr. Polo at Boston’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel to discuss his ground-breaking medical advances.
At first, both Benita and Paulo decided to focus on their work and keep their relationship on more of a friendship side. But, this started to go steamy between them as they both used to spend much time together, courtesy of their work.
