Who was Saad Ahmed?
Hailing from Pakistan, Saad Ahmed went to Karachi's mobile market to film a vlog on the build-up for India vs Pakistan match on June 9, 2024. After speaking with several people about the INDIAvsPAKISTAN faceoff, Saad met a security guard who wasn’t interested in featuring in the video. As a result, the security guard lost his temper on being questioned repeatedly and eventually, shot the YouTuber dead. Several reports stated that Saad was rushed to the hospital but he was declared dead on arrival.
Notably, Saad Ahmed's shootout video is also going viral on social media. In the viral Saad Ahmed's video, he can be seen holding a camera in his hand. Suddenly, a man loads his Assault rifle and fires at him in front of everyone.
One Instagram page shared, Saad Ahmed's old videos. The caption of the video also included the statement of the accused security guard. "He kept on bringing the mic close to my face and filming. I lost my temper and fired at him," the guard was quoted as saying in the Instagram post. It is reported that Saad Ahmed was the only earning person in his family and he had two kids.
The accused security guard has been arrested by the Pakistani Police.
