The murder of a 4-year-old child in a Goa hotel by a Bengaluru-based AI startup Founder Suchana Seth has shocked the nation. The Goa Police on Monday arrested Suchana Seth for murdering her 4-year-old son in a Goa hotel. Suchana Seth, 39, was arrested by Goa Police with the help of Karnataka police in Chitradurga, Karnataka, while she was trying to flee with the body of her son stuffed inside a bag. As per reports, Seth, who checked into a Goa hotel along with her son on January 6 got noticed by hotel staff after she checked out alone and blood stains were noticed in the hotel room. Initial investigation reveals that Suchana Seth murdered her child so that her husband could not meet him. Now, the question arises who is Suchana Seth's husband? Below is what we know so far-
Who is Suchana Seth's husband?
Suchana Seth's husband has been identified as Venkat Raman. As per reports, the Goa DGP informed the court that a local court had permitted the child's father Venkat Raman to meet his child on Sundays. However, Seth did not want her estranged husband to meet their son. Suchana Seth married Venkat in the year 2010 and their son was born in 2019. However, due to domestic disputes, the relationship between them turned sour. Finally, just after a year- in 2020, Suchana Seth and her husband filed for divorce.
The court ruling was not liked by Suchana Seth and therefore in order to stop Raman from meeting his 4-year-old son, she planned a trip to Goa. Suchana Seth killed the child in the hotel room in North Goa ahead of the scheduled meeting with Venkat Raman.
The Goa Police officials informed that Suchana's husband Venkat is currently in Indonesia. When Seth murdered her child, Venkat was Indonesia. "We have informed him about the murder and asked him to return to India," a Police official was quoted saying.
Notably, the Goa Police are yet to issue a formal statement in the modus operandi behind the murder of a 4-year-old child.
