The Sabarmati Report, The Sabarmati Report Vikrant Massey, The Sabarmati Report Real Story, The Sabarmati Report Propaganda Vikrant Massey Reaction: After the success of 12th Fail and Sector 36; Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey is all set to take the theaters by storm with his upcoming movie The Sabarmati Report. The Sabarmati Report will be released in theaters on November 15, 2024. The Sabarmati Report is based on Gujarat’s Godhra train burning incident when 69 Hindus were burnt alive. The Godhra incident sparked a statewide riot in which people from two religions lost their lives. During the incident, Narendra Modi was the CM of Gujarat. Recently, actor Vikrant Massey appeared on Shubhankar Mishra's podcast in which he opened up about the making of the movie. (Vikrant Massey Sabarmati Report Proaganda Reaction) Vikrant also reacted to critics calling The Sabarmati report a propaganda movie. Below is an excerpt from the podcast-

Vikrant Massey said, "Let's talk about the title (Gujarat Files) which you are mentioning. The mishap was very extensive. Many things including riots took place. We strictly wanted to narrow it down to whatever happened on the 27th of February. There are many reasons behind it. The riots that took place was very unfortunate and it should not have happened. You can find out about these things on the Internet. When Ekta Kapoor, the producer of the film reached out to me, I had known her for a long time. When she told me that she especially wanted to make a film on the train burning, then she also handed me the research material along with the script. She also gave me 2 weeks."

"Collectively what all of us felt was this is injustice that took place with those 69 people. Unfortunately, whenever there is talk about Gujarat or the Sabarmati fire incident, the media also ask us why we are not talking about the riots. If you are talking about one perspective, then it does not mean you are disregarding the other. But, unfortunately in the world of cinema one talked about coaches S6 and S7.

It has been 22 years and you also know that there were multiple narratives at that time. No one knew what actually happened. When I brought the story or script to my home, I discussed it with my family. I have my children, my friends have children. They don't know what happened on 27th February, they only know about the riots. But, no one talked about the genesis, the 69 people only turned into statistics. Now, the Supreme Court has already given a judge on this. No one is above the Supreme Court in this country, the controversy has settled down and this is why we named the movie The Sabarmati Report," Massey added.

On being termed a propaganda movie, Massey said, "This is a very common question and it does not bother me. First, watch the film. My only answer to the allegations of Sabarmati Report a propaganda movie is you go and watch the movie on November 15 first. In politics, there might be only black and white. But, I don't think in life, there is only black and white.
