The hunt for Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh has entered day 6 and the Punjab Police is still not able to nab the Pro-Khalistan leader. Till now the major developments that have come in crackdown on Amritpal Singh are that his last location was in Haryana where he contacted a girl Baljeet Kaur whom he knew for the past 2 years. Apart from this, On Wednesday, CCTV footage surfaced showing how Amritpal Singh changed his vehicle in order to escape from Punjab Police. While on Thursday, a picture of Amritpal Singh went viral in which he was seen escaping in 'bike thela' after his motorcycle broke down.

Reportedly, the person who was driving the cart on which Amritpal Singh was seen in the CCTV has come forward. The person informed that while he was on his way home, he met two people asking for lift. The person stated that Amritpal Singh was with one more person and they said that their bike has got punctured due to which they needed help. The thela driver helped them and dropped them near a puncture shop in Mehtpur. He further added that at that time he did not know that person on his bike thela was Amritpal Singh. He also said that Amritpal Singh gave him Rs.100 for the lift.

For the unversed, Amritpal Singh's last location was traced in Haryana's Kurukshetra and he was harbored by a local lady. It is pertinent to mention here that with the help of Haryana Police, a woman named Baljit Kaur has been arrested and an investigation is going on. Apart from the neighboring states of Punjab, an alert has also been issued for Amritpal in Uttarakhand. Gurughars are also being investigated.
